Sun Ho Kim is Associate Professor of Theatre at Boston College, holding an M.F.A. from Boston Conservatory. His creative research explores the intersection of dance, visual art, and literature through original movement improvisation methods.
As Artistic Director of Sun Ho Kim & Dancers, he has presented work internationally at venues including Joyce Soho NYC and CASA ASIA Barcelona. His opera choreography credits include productions for Washington National Opera and Boston Lyric Opera.
He teaches contemporary dance, choreography, and movement for performers, developing interdisciplinary approaches that bridge performance traditions. He received the 2023 Massachusetts Cultural Council grant supporting his international residencies.
