Kate Digby is an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Associate Director for Dance at Kansas State University's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. She has previously taught at The Boston Conservatory, Longy School of Music, Roxbury Community College, New York University's Athletic Department, and Walnut Hill School for the Performing Arts.
- Education: MFA in Dance (University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee), BFA (Boston Conservatory), CMA (Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies)
- Current research on interoception and emotional regulation in performance, supported by National Endowment for the Arts and University of Toronto
- Founder of Digby Dance (2000-2009), with over 50 original works and collaborations across Canada, Ecuador, India, and the U.S.
