Christina E. Dancz is a Clinical Associate Professor (Part-Time) of Obstetrics & Gynecology at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She serves as Director of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program at USC/LAC+USC Medical Center. Her academic background includes a Bachelor’s in Microbiology from the University of Maryland, a joint MD/MPH program at Harvard Medical School and MIT, and residency at LAC+USC Medical Center. Her research focuses on pelvic organ prolapse, medical education methodologies, and quality improvement initiatives. She has received multiple teaching awards including the APGO Excellence in Teaching Award (2020-2021) and the Hibbard Award for Excellence in Teaching (2020-2021). Her work emphasizes improving surgical techniques for prolapse and malignancy co-management, as well as patient-centered approaches to chronic pelvic conditions. Dr. Dancz’s publications span topics from surgical outcomes and opioid consumption after urogynecologic procedures to cost analyses of preoperative evaluations. She has pioneered studies on aromatherapy for urodynamics discomfort and qualitative insights into patient experiences with bladder pain syndromes.
