Tito Vasquez, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Yale School of Medicine. He specializes in aesthetic surgery, cancer reconstruction, trauma reconstruction, and microvascular hand surgery. Affiliated with Yale Medicine and Bridgeport Hospital (part of Yale New Haven Health), he holds leadership roles including past president of Bridgeport Hospital’s medical staff and chairman of its medical executive committee.
Education: MD from New York Medical College (1996), BSc in Biology from Trinity College (1992). Clinical training includes residencies at Nassau University Medical Center (Plastic Surgery, 2008), St. Luke’s Hospital (General Surgery, 2005), and a U.S. Navy internship at National Naval Medical Center (1997). He also completed an orthopaedic hand fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery (2006).
Research focuses on surgical techniques like Vaser liposuction and patient-centered care approaches. Recognized for clinical excellence with multiple Top Doctor awards and distinguished by his military service (including deployment to Okinawa, Japan).
