Sophia Min is an Associate Professor of Sport Management and Leadership in the Department of Kinesiology at the University of New Hampshire. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia and master's/bachelor's degrees from Hanyang University (South Korea). Her research examines socio-psychological factors in sport consumer behavior.
Research focuses on spectator motivations, ticket promotion efficacy, and digital marketing in sports. Recent work analyzes consumer decision-making in the WNBA, behavioral economics of pricing, and fitness industry service recovery.
Publications demonstrate consistent investigation of market analytics across sporting contexts, employing advanced statistical methods like canonical correlation and moderated mediation. Emerging interests include educational technology applications and metaverse-based pedagogy.
Courses taught include Sport Marketing, Sport Facility Management, and Advanced Sport Marketing, integrating research insights into curriculum development.
