Roberto Jamora is an Assistant Professor in the Art Foundation program at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts. He holds an MFA from SUNY Purchase and a BFA from VCU. Additionally, he teaches Filipino Diaspora Studies at William & Mary, where he also serves as the Asian Centennial Distinguished Fine Arts Fellow.

His research focuses on abstract painting and the intersection of color with memory, exemplified by his ongoing series An Inventory of Traces. Jamora has participated in residency programs at Hambidge Center, Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, Joan Mitchell Center, and others. Upcoming residencies include VCCA-France's Moulin à Nef in 2022.

His work is exhibited nationally and internationally, with collections held by institutions like the Harvard Kennedy School and Muscarelle Museum of Art. Represented by Page Bond Gallery and FLXST Contemporary, his art explores themes of diaspora identity through visual abstraction.
