Patrick Garon-Sayegh is an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Montreal. He holds a S.J.D. (2022) and LL.M. (2017) in Bioethics from the University of Toronto and McGill University, respectively, along with a B.C.L.-LL.B. (2010) and B.A. (2005) in Communications from McGill and Concordia Universities.

His research focuses on the intersection of legal evidence, medical malpractice, and bioethics. Current projects include "Continuum PAROLE-Onco" (2023–2029) and "La faute et l’expertise médicales" (2024–2026).
Recent publications center on medical expertise, legal reasoning, and the limitations of ethical codes in healthcare. His work bridges disciplines like law, medicine, and rhetoric, highlighting the need for unified frameworks to address hybrid clinical-legal challenges.
Grants from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) fund his research. He co-authored articles on medical ethics, legal evidence, and climate-conscious healthcare policies.
