Professor Vincent Kazmierski teaches at Carleton University's Department of Law and Legal Studies. He holds a B.A., M.A. (McGill), LL.B. (Dalhousie), and S.J.D. (Toronto), and has been at Carleton since 2005. His work focuses on constitutional law, disability rights, and legal education pedagogy.

His research explores the role of unwritten constitutional principles in Canadian democracy, the impact of law on disability inclusion, and innovative teaching methods in legal studies. Recent publications analyze Supreme Court jurisprudence, blended teaching mentorship programs, and disability policy.
He has won multiple teaching awards, including the Provost’s Fellowship in Teaching (2014). He will teach LAWS 1001 and LAWS 4503 in 2025-2026. Collaborations include co-authorship with Kim Hellemans, Brettel Dawson, and Steve Tasson on interdisciplinary legal studies projects.
