Noel Roycroft

Noel Roycroft serves as Deputy Director and Clinical Instructor at Harvard Law School's Transactional Law Clinics (TLC), where she trains and supervises law students representing entrepreneurs, small businesses, social enterprises, non-profits, community groups, and creatives across Massachusetts on transactional legal matters.

Her educational background includes:

• B.A. in Sociology and Visual Art from Bowdoin College (2005)
• Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Northeastern University
• J.D., summa cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law (2012)

Roycroft's research and practice centers on Contracts, Corporate and Transactional Law, Poverty Law, and Economic Justice. She possesses deep expertise in business/non-profit formations, corporate governance, securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, commercial leasing, and intellectual property matters, with strong emphasis on community economic development and legal empowerment of underserved populations. Her work bridges practical legal training with social impact through community partnerships.

As part of TLC's leadership, she develops curriculum for Transactional Law Clinical Workshops and Clinics while conducting legal trainings for community organizations. Prior professional experience includes corporate law practice at Ropes & Gray, LLP's asset management group and civil rights work with the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

She operates within Harvard Law School's Transactional Law Clinics framework, which integrates student training with direct legal services to Massachusetts communities through structured client representation and community outreach initiatives.
