Stephanie Tabashneck, PsyD, Esq., is a Senior Fellow in Law and Applied Neuroscience (2022–2024) at Harvard University, affiliated with Harvard Law School through the Petrie-Flom Center for Health Law Policy, Biotechnology, and Bioethics. She also collaborates with the Center for Law, Brain & Behavior at Massachusetts General Hospital. Her work bridges forensic psychology, neuroscience, and legal systems, focusing on science-informed judicial processes.

Research interests: Dr. Tabashneck specializes in forensic psychological assessments for criminal and civil cases, substance use disorders in legal contexts, complex child custody matters, and the intersection of religion with judicial decision-making. Professional activities: She provides national trainings for legal and psychological organizations, including the American Bar Association, American Psychological Association, and Federal Judicial Center. Dr. Tabashneck is a past member of the APA Ethics Committee and current president of the Massachusetts chapter of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts.
