Dr. Lenita Davis holds the dual roles of Professor and Executive Director of the Professional Sales Program at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire's College of Business, within the Marketing and Supply Chain Management Department. Prior to UWEC, she served as Executive Director at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock's Professional Sales Program and founded the University of Alabama Sales Program. She is also President of the University Sales Center Alliance and leads global initiatives in sales education through the American Marketing Association.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. from the University of Cincinnati, an MBA from Xavier University, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University. Her research focuses on sales management, consumer behavior, and innovative pedagogical tools like her Interact Technology collaboration, which now serves over 30 institutions.
Dr. Davis’s work bridges academia and industry through corporate advisory boards and recording labs for sales training. Her contributions include developing the textbook Sales Management: Shaping Future Sales Leaders and spearheading the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management’s Outstanding Conceptual Paper award. Her research spans consumer vulnerability, sales enablement strategies, and global sales ecosystems.
Before academia, she held managerial roles at Procter & Gamble and James River Corporation. Her global studies on cross-cultural sales practices and critiques of carceral-state economics highlight her interdisciplinary impact.
