Dr. Kim Wang is an Associate Professor of Strategy and International Business at Suffolk University's Sawyer Business School. Her research focuses on innovation strategies in technology industries, particularly exploring how firms navigate technological frontiers and emerging markets. She holds a PhD from the University of Illinois and additional graduate degrees from HEC School of Management and Washington State University, complemented by a BS from Tsing-Hua University in Taiwan. Her work bridges engineering and management, emphasizing technology commercialization, resilient cities, and digital transformation.
Dr. Wang's research spans clean energy transitions, OLED display technologies, and innovation ecosystems in cities. She has been a Fulbright Scholar in Cyprus and contributes to journals like Technological Forecasting & Social Change. She teaches courses on global business strategies, innovation management, and international clusters.
