Jane Illes is a Senior Lecturer in Physiology at the School of Medicine, University of St Andrews, with extensive roles in teaching and Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) since joining in 2018. She serves as a personal tutor across BSc Medicine, ScotGEM, and MSc programs, and led the development of the MSc Health Professions curriculum.
Research Focus: Jane's work centers on intersectionality in medical education, virtual reality applications for pedagogy, and systemic EDI initiatives. Her projects include evaluating mentoring schemes and advancing gender equality frameworks.
