Dr. Irene Zempi is an Associate Professor in Criminology within the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Nottingham Trent University (NTU). She leads the NTU Hate Crime Research Group, contributes to the Athena SWAN Bronze Award initiative, and serves as a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her work spans academic leadership, research, and policy engagement.
