Associate Professor Foula Kopanidis is a faculty member in the School of Economics, Finance and Marketing at RMIT University, specializing in Marketing. She focuses on consumer behavior, aging well-being, and education, with a quantitative research approach. Her work addresses proactive health behaviors, midlife aging, age identity, and eLiteracy. She is a member of the Consumer Wellbeing Research Group and has contributed to media discussions on health interventions and housing design for aging populations.
Her research has been recognized through awards such as the ANZMAC Marketing Educator of the Year (2020) and the RMIT Teaching Innovation Award (2019). She supervises PhD projects on topics like smartphone gaming determinants and water conservation programs. She teaches in the Master of Marketing and Bachelor of Business programs, emphasizing student-centered learning.
Her committee roles include steering the Consumer Wellbeing Research Group and contributing to RMIT’s Academic Board. Her work bridges academic research with practical applications in policy, health, and education sectors.
