Ece Kaynak is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at Bayes Business School, City, University of London. Her research focuses on occupational dynamics, including professional accountability, learning pathways, and political influence in organizations. She employs qualitative methods to study how workers adapt to industry changes, regulate misconduct, and shape public policy through collective action. Dr. Kaynak holds a PhD from Stanford University, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from Bogazici University.
Her research interests span Organization Theory, Industrial Relations, and Ethnographic Methods. Notable work examines professional misconduct in healthcare (e.g., the opioid crisis), alternative educational models like bootcamps, and the role of public affairs professionals in shaping regulatory environments.
