Christopher D. Byrne

Professor Christopher D. Byrne is a leading academic at the University of Southampton, holding the Professorship of Endocrinology and Metabolism within the Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on the intersection of Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), Type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular risk. As a member of the Nutrition, Endocrinology and Metabolism research group, he leads studies on metabolic syndromes and their systemic impacts.
