Caleb Warren is a Professor of Marketing at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, holding the Robert A. Eckert Endowed Chair in Marketing. His research focuses on consumer behavior, humor, coolness, and symbolic value, with publications in top-tier journals like the Journal of Consumer Research and Journal of Marketing.
Warren's research explores how emotions, effort, and autonomy shape consumer perceptions and decisions. He investigates topics such as the psychology of humor, brand coolness, ironic consumption, and the impact of gamification on financial behavior. His work bridges marketing strategy with behavioral science and social psychology.
His recent articles highlight trends in humor theory, brand perception, and behavioral economics. These publications often examine the interplay between emotional responses, consumer engagement, and symbolic consumption patterns.
