Yeonjin Sung is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Sogang Business School, Sogang University (March 2025 - Present). Her academic journey includes a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Michigan (2024), an M.S. in Marketing from Seoul National University (2017), and dual B.A. degrees in Economics and Psychology from Seoul National University (2015).

Her research focuses on Sustainable Marketing, Branding, and Time Perception, with particular emphasis on aging consumers and cultural influences on purchasing decisions. She explores symbolic consumption patterns and psychological mechanisms behind sustainable choices.
Recent publications highlight aging consumers' behavior and creativity's role in well-being. Research in progress includes studies on sustainable product gifting, brand iconicity, and tangibility in pricing strategies.
