Dr. Yong Liu is a Professor of Marketing and Director of the HSLopez School of Business Analytics at the University of Arizona's Eller College of Management, where he holds the HSLopez Endowed Chair. He earned his PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of British Columbia and joined Eller in 2006. His research focuses on digital strategy, social media marketing, cultural product branding, and crisis management strategies.
Research Interests: Professor Liu's work spans digital business models, social interaction analytics, marketing strategies for entertainment industries, and organizational response to product-harm crises. He employs advanced quantitative methods to study behavioral dynamics in digital consumption, platform economies, and cross-cultural branding.
