Ronnie Gao is an Associate Professor in the School of Business at Trinity Western University (TWU), where he joined in 2014 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2017. His academic expertise spans marketing , consumer behavior , and leadership in sales management , with a focus on cross-cultural dynamics and green marketing. Education : PhD in Business Administration (Drexel University, 2014) MBA (University of British Columbia, 2004) BEng in Electrical Engineering (Tongji University, 1989) Research Interests : Ronnie’s work explores how transformative leadership influences salespeople’s performance and satisfaction, leveraging psychological empowerment and motivation. He investigates cross-cultural consumer responses to ethnic-targeting services, product failures, and environmental branding, emphasizing cultural salience and consumer ethnocentrism. His studies often bridge marketing theory with organizational psychology.
