Cortney Lowinski serves as a Lecturer in the Drama Department at the University of Virginia, where she teaches acting, movement, and voice methodologies. Her educational foundation includes: B.A. in Acting from Loyola University Chicago M.A. in Acting with movement concentration from University of Essex East 15 Acting School M.F.A. in Drama with performance emphasis from University of Virginia Specializing in interdisciplinary approaches, her work integrates physical theatre techniques with vocal training to create dynamic learning environments. She emphasizes inclusive pedagogy and holistic performer development through movement-based acting methodologies. Her teaching career spans institutions including North Central College, Piven Theatre, Actors Training Center, and Acting Studio Chicago across Chicago, London, and Virginia locations.
