Dr. Emily Rose is an Associate Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine and Director of Pre-Health Undergraduate Studies at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. She is also Director of the Minor in Health Care Studies. With over a decade of clinical experience, she specializes in pediatric and adult emergency care, emphasizing innovative medical education and professionalism. Dr. Rose holds leadership roles in residency training and undergraduate medical education, alongside national speaking engagements on pediatric emergencies and emergency medicine pedagogy. Education & Training : Emergency Medicine Residency, Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center (Chief Resident 2007-2008) Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship, Loma Linda University Research Interests : Dr. Rose focuses on pediatric emergency care, medical education strategies, and improving patient outcomes through standardized training. She has authored a textbook on life-threatening rashes and is developing a practical guide for pediatric emergencies. Her work emphasizes evidence-based practices in pain management, dehydration, and critical care. Recent Contributions : Her articles address opioid crisis management in children, pediatric stroke protocols, and non-pharmacological pain relief.
