Howard Williams is a distinguished Professor of Conducting at the Royal College of Music (RCM), renowned for his extensive international career spanning opera, ballet, and orchestral performances. He has collaborated with leading orchestras globally, including the London Philharmonic, BBC Symphony, and Hungarian National Philharmonic. His roles include former Artistic Director of the Pannon Philharmonic (Hungary), Head of Conducting at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and Musical Director of the Sinfonia of Cambridge. Williams holds degrees from Oxford and Liverpool Universities and advanced conducting training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His expertise spans over 100 opera and ballet productions, world premieres of contemporary works (e.g., Bizet’s Ivan IV ), and choral collaborations with ensembles like the BBC Singers. He is also founder of the Choir of the 21st Century (CC21).
