Rodrigo Ojeda

Rodrigo Ojeda is an Associate Teaching Professor of Collaborative Piano at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Music, where he also serves as a piano faculty member in the Music Preparatory School. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in piano performance from the IUDEM (Institute of Musical Studies) and a graduate degree and Artist Diploma from Carnegie Mellon University. His career includes performances at venues such as the Piccolo Spoleto Festival and collaborations with orchestras like the Orquesta Municipal in Caracas, Venezuela. He has performed a wide repertoire, including works by Tchaikovsky, Brahms, Gershwin, and Prokofiev, and has been part of the Carnegie Mellon Contemporary Ensemble.

His teaching focuses on piano performance and collaborative music, with notable student achievements in institutions such as the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, University of New Mexico, and Duquesne University. Ojeda’s performances blend classical and contemporary works, emphasizing chamber music and orchestral accompaniment. He resides in Pittsburgh with his family.
