Anne Jackovic Moskal is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Solfege and Artist Lecturer in the School of Music at Carnegie Mellon University. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (2005) and Master's degree in Violin Performance from Carnegie Mellon, where she received the prestigious Harry G. Archer Award as the university's Most Outstanding Senior. Her career spans professional orchestral roles, including Assistant Concertmaster of the Erie Philharmonic and positions with the Pittsburgh Opera Orchestra, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, and Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra.
Her teaching extends across university-level Solfege instruction, the Carnegie Mellon Pre-College program, and violin faculty at the String Preparatory School. Notably, she performed as a soloist for Belgium's Prince Philippe and Princess Christine of Chimay. Awards include recognitions from Keynotes Scholarship Competition, WQED-FM, and the Duquesne City Music Center.
Her expertise bridges performance and pedagogy, emphasizing violin technique and music theory education. She maintains active involvement in Pittsburgh's music community through both performance and instructional roles.
