Donato Valerio is a Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Calabria, affiliated with the Department of Law, Economics and Sociology (DiGES). His research focuses on civil law, contract law, legal theory, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has contributed extensively to topics such as legal pluralism, banking contracts, and digital obligations. His academic work spans theoretical and applied legal studies, including analyses of the principle of subsidiarity in civil law, the evolution of contractual obligations in digital contexts, and the application of legal principles to contemporary issues like sports governance and collective property rights.
