Angela Correra is a Research Fellow in European Union Law at the Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro, Department of Law, Economics and Sociology. She holds a PhD in Services Law in the Italian and European Legal System from the University of Naples Parthenope and has been qualified as a university associate professor in EU Law. Her academic roles include teaching European Internal Market Law, International Law, and EU Law across multiple institutions, including the University of Naples Federico II and LUM Jean Monnet. She has also served as a Visiting Researcher in France and Spain, focusing on climate change policy and public procurement regulations.
Her research interests center on EU legal frameworks, digital justice, AI ethics, and data governance. She contributes extensively to peer-reviewed journals like Diritto pubblico comparato ed europeo and collaborates on projects such as the Jean Monnet Modules on Digital Skills and AI in European Justice. She is a member of AISDUE, DPCE, and ESIL, actively participating in editorial boards for journals like BlogDUE and Quaderni AISDUE.
Her recent work explores topics like Ukrainian asylum policy reforms, ECB discretionary acts, and the EU’s digital strategy post-COVID-19. She also engages in legal practice, being a qualified attorney in Naples and contributing to policy projects like the Involving Youth in Just Transition initiative.
