Dr. Wei-Ping Wu is an Associate Professor in Management and DBA Supervisor at Anglia Ruskin University's Faculty of Business and Law, specializing in Management. He has held academic roles at institutions including University of International Business & Economics (China), Sheffield Hallam University, and Hong Kong Baptist University. His research focuses on business management in China, international business, and strategic management. He has served as Director of the Institute of Pacific Asia Studies at the University of Hull and coordinated the Curtin-Lingnan DBA program.
Dr. Wu holds a BA and MA in International Trade from the University of International Business & Economics and a PhD in Business and Management from Ulster University. His research interests span marketing, international business, organizational behavior, cross-cultural management, and strategic management, with a focus on topics like interfirm trust, knowledge sharing, and dynamic capabilities.
His publications frequently appear in top-tier journals (ABS 4 and above), including Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of Management Studies. He has supervised numerous DBA and PhD students on themes such as firm performance, social capital, and innovation in emerging markets. Dr. Wu is also an elected full member of the Institute of Export, London, UK, and has held leadership roles in academic programs and research centers.
