Wagner Campos serves as an Adjunct Lecturer in Performance (Clarinet) at DePaul University's School of Music. An active orchestral musician, he performs with the Chicago Sinfonietta and Fulcrum Point New Music Project while collaborating regularly with the Chicago and Philadelphia Orchestras, and has appeared with Milwaukee, Alabama, Charleston, and New World Symphonies during international tours including engagements in Spain with the Galician Orchestra.

Specializing in clarinet performance and pedagogy, Campos has taught at Merit School of Music, Sherwood Conservatory, and Lake Forest Academy while conducting master classes across Chicago, Colombia, Costa Rica, and Puerto Rico. His performance career highlights include serving as principal clarinet for the San Francisco Ballet Orchestra (2008 season), coaching NYO2's clarinet section, and performing in Broadway productions through 'Broadway in Chicago'. Critical acclaim for his recording 'Romantic Songs for Clarinet and Piano' with pianist Roderick Ferguson features praise from Chicago Tribune's John von Rhein regarding his 'liquid phrasing, sensuous tone and seamless line'.
At DePaul, Campos teaches Applied Clarinet and Chamber Music courses while maintaining active performance commitments. He previously coached winds for Chicago Protégé and Classical Symphonies and has trained under legendary musicians including Larry Combs, John Yeh, and Robert Marcellus during Kent/Blossom music festivals.
His professional collaborations span conductors Riccardo Muti, Daniel Barenboim, Sir George Solti, and Edo de Waart across major orchestral institutions, while current ensemble affiliations include Chicago Sinfonietta, Fulcrum Point, Avalon String Quartet, and CSO MusicNow.
