Dr. Tolulope Eboka is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at the Department of Criminology, Politics and Sociology within Kingston University's Faculty of Business and Social Sciences. She earned her PhD from the University of Northampton in 2017 and previously held lecturing positions at SOAS University of London and Birmingham City University. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA) and member of the British Society of Criminology.
Her research examines critical issues in criminology and social justice, including criminalization processes, hate crime dynamics, gender normativity, domestic violence, gang violence, youth crime, and racial disparities. Current projects focus on Anti-Asian racism patterns and violent crime experiences in Croydon communities.
Publication trends reveal consistent focus on structural inequalities, cultural violence, and educational equity. Recent work explores decolonising pedagogy, pandemic-era e-learning challenges, and resilience frameworks in gender-based violence contexts, frequently centered on Nigerian case studies.
