Her work spans empirical studies on Clare’s Law, technology-facilitated intimate partner violence, and institutional responses to sexual misconduct in higher education. She collaborates with organizations like the Home Office and OSCE, contributing to hate crime policy reviews. Current projects examine safeguarding during crises (e.g., pandemic impacts on domestic abuse services) and LGBTQ+ rights in post-conflict regions.
Dr. Duggan is a sought-after media commentator on BBC Radio and national publications, addressing gender-based violence, hate crime, and criminological pedagogy. Her transformative teaching approach integrates feminist praxis, and she supervises doctoral research on global gender-based victimization.
