Timothy Eccles

Dr Timothy Eccles is a Senior Lecturer in Real Estate at London South Bank University (LSBU), having joined from Nottingham Trent University (NTU) in 2018. With a career spanning over three decades in higher education, he holds a PhD in Sociology from the London School of Economics (LSE) and an MA in Social and Political Theory from the University of Sussex. His research focuses on the intersection of technical practices and social processes in real estate and construction, emphasizing formality/informality dynamics, professional regulation, and occupational performance.
