Taslim Alade

Taslim Alade is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Business-Society Management at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University Rotterdam. He specializes in impact-driven education and research, employing experiential learning and gamification methodologies to prepare graduates for leadership in complex global contexts while fostering tangible societal impact. He coordinates the Sustainable Business Models Master's course with four corporate partners and the student-led I DO Bachelor course engaging fifteen non-profit organizations annually.

Alade's research focuses on sustainable business model innovation and pedagogical advancements, utilizing mixed qualitative-quantitative approaches. As a certified SDG game facilitator, he integrates United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into educational frameworks, emphasizing interdisciplinary solutions to socio-environmental challenges through business-society collaboration.

He actively supervises master's and PhD research candidates while serving on the RSM faculty council. His industry engagement spans corporate partnerships for curriculum development and extensive non-profit collaborations that provide real-world experiential learning platforms for students.

Prior to academia, he contributed over a decade to space applications development at Nigeria's National Space Research and Development Agency and served as project manager for the United Nations UN-SPIDER program, applying geospatial technologies for disaster management.
