TAN Chin Tiong

Tan Chin Tiong is a Professor and a key figure in the founding and development of Singapore Management University (SMU). As Provost from 1999 to 2008, he played a pivotal role in shaping SMU's academic structure, pedagogy, and strategic direction. He later served as Deputy President and contributed to institutional development. Prior to SMU, he held leadership roles at the National University of Singapore (NUS), including Head of the Marketing Department and School of Management.

• PhD in Business from Pennsylvania State University (USA)
