Suzanne Silver is Associate Professor and Graduate Studies Chair in the Painting & Drawing Program at Ohio State University's Department of Art. She holds an AB from Smith College and MFA from Ohio State University.
Her artistic practice involves:
- Creating mixed-media installations combining unexpected materials
- Developing visual languages open to multiple interpretations
- Exploring intersections of Jewish art and contemporary visual culture
She has exhibited internationally at venues including Centre Pompidou, Mattress Factory, and Columbus Museum of Art. Her artist's book 'Blacklists/Whitelists' was published by Logan Elm Press.
