Anthony Baab

Anthony Baab is a Senior Professor of Practice in Painting & Drawing at Tulane University's Newcomb Art Department, part of the School of Liberal Arts. He holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Cornell University (2009) and a BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute (2004). His work explores self-reflexivity through drawings, sculptures, and large-scale models, exhibited at venues like Grand Arts (Kansas City), Dan Graham (Los Angeles), and The Mattress Factory (Pittsburgh). His art is included in prestigious collections such as The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art and The Microsoft Collection.

His research interests focus on interdisciplinary practices and material experimentation, blending traditional and contemporary mediums. His work is represented by Haw Contemporary in Kansas City.
