John Davis Carroll is an Adjunct Professor of Life Drawing at the University of Missouri–Kansas City Conservatory. He also teaches drawing, painting, and 2D Design at Johnson County Community College and Avila University in Kansas City. With a BFA from Swain School of Design and graduate studies at Parsons School of Design, Carroll’s artistic practice spans painting, new media, and design. His work has been exhibited nationally and internationally in Taiwan and China, and is held in permanent collections including the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art.
