Dr. Sophie Bennett is a Senior Lecturer in Psychology at King's College London, affiliated with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN). She specializes in child and adolescent mental health, focusing on integrating physical and mental healthcare and enhancing access to low-intensity psychological interventions. Her roles include leading clinical research, editing the Oxford Guide to Brief and Low-Intensity Interventions for Children and Young People, and advising on national audits (e.g., RCPCH Epilepsy12). She received the NIHR Team Science Award (2025) and has extensive collaborations, including with the International League Against Epilepsy.

Key awards include the NIHR Team Science Award, and her contributions span over 100 peer-reviewed publications. She is an honorary Associate Professor at UCL and provides training in evidence-based therapies for neurological conditions.
