معرفی
Dr Simon Ameer-Beg is a Senior Lecturer at the Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics, King’s College London, specializing in advanced microscopy techniques and quantitative molecular imaging. His research focuses on protein-protein interactions and cell signaling dynamics in cancer, supported by funding from EPSRC, Cancer Research UK, and BBSRC.
Research Focus: Multidisciplinary development of optical instruments for studying biological questions in cellular environments, particularly cancer signaling mechanisms. His work bridges biophysics, molecular biology, and biomedical engineering.
Funding & Collaborations: Participated in four high-profile collaborative imaging projects funded by
- EPSRC
- Cancer Research UK
- BBSRC (two projects)
Laboratory & Teams: Based at the Randall Centre for Cell & Molecular Biophysics at King’s College London, where he leads research integrating instrumentation development with cancer biology studies.
