Dr. Sarah Marks is Lecturer in HRM and Organisational Behaviour at Swansea University's School of Management. She holds a PhD in Business and Management from the University of East Anglia, where her thesis examined cultural influences on emotion regulation in workplace contexts.
Her research employs critical and intersectional perspectives to investigate how self-employment and alternative work arrangements affect sustainable incomes, particularly for disadvantaged groups. Current projects focus on breaking money taboos while exploring gender, entrepreneurial poverty, and value systems.
