Dr. Hadar Elraz is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour at the School of Management, Swansea University, within the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She previously held postdoctoral positions in Cardiff, Bristol, and Lancaster. Her research focuses on marginalisation in workplaces, particularly mental health conditions and intersectionality within high-performing organisations. She challenges simplistic assumptions in diversity management and explores how employees navigate stigma and develop coping mechanisms in neoliberal work environments.
Expertise areas include critical management studies, disabilities in the workplace, mental health conditions, intersectionality, and critical HRM. She teaches modules such as 'The Global Context of Organisation' and 'Employment Relations and Wellbeing.'
Her research highlights the role of self-management as resistance, advancing HRM practices and policy. Notable publications include studies on bio-power, workplace wellbeing discourses, and identity threats in reputation management. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and an Aurora Mentor, supporting academic career development in gender, mental health, and disabilities.
Dr. Elraz collaborates on projects evaluating regional and service board collaborations, contributing to policy and practice in mental health and disability inclusion.
