Ruth Aman

Dr Ruth Aman is a Senior Lecturer in Education at Brunel University's College of Business, Arts and Social Sciences. With over a decade of teaching experience, she has worked in secondary schools in England and the USA, taught English to further education and undergraduate students, and delivered teacher education at Columbia University and Brunel University.

• Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in English and American Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University, a PGCE from De Montfort University, and masters/EdD degrees in English education from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Research Interests: Socratic seminar and dialogic learning methodologies in post-16 education contexts. Her work emphasizes interactive pedagogical approaches and curriculum development in English education.
