Ruth Proctor

Ruth Proctor is a Senior Lecturer in Primary and Early Years Education at the University of Chester's School of Education. She teaches across undergraduate and PGCE programmes, specializing in Professional Studies, Languages, Play, Learning and Development, and Creativity modules.

Her research examines the pedagogical applications of playful learning methodologies in diverse educational contexts. With over ten years of prior experience as a teacher, SENCO, and subject leader in Northwest England and London, she integrates practical classroom insights into her academic work.
