Dr. Anjali Shah is a Senior Lecturer in Teacher Education at the University of Chester, specializing in secondary education and anti-racist pedagogy. She holds a PhD in Physics from the University of St Andrews, an MEd from Manchester Metropolitan University, and a PGCE from the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on identity shifts among career-changer teachers, decolonized curricula, and equity in education. She serves on committees such as the Widening Participation Committee and Athena Swan, and previously led race equality strategies at her institution.
