Gordon Baillie is a Senior Lecturer in Education Practice (Secondary English) at the University of Chester, affiliated with the School of Education within the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. He holds a BA (Hons) in English Studies from the University of Strathclyde (1993-1997), a PGCE in Secondary English & Drama (1997-1998), an MA in Teaching & Learning from the University of Chester (2011-2017), and is currently completing a Doctorate in Education (EdD). His research focuses on English teachers' identity construction within knowledge-rich curricula, and he actively consults for projects like the RARA Education Project CIC (2023-2024).
