Rosette Cirillo is a **Lecturer on Education** and core faculty member of the Teaching and Teacher Leadership program at Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education (HGSE). She holds a B.A. from Bard College, an Ed.M. from HGSE, and a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (2024). Her work focuses on fostering inclusive, reflective teaching practices and examining how teachers’ ethical and moral lives intersect with classroom dynamics.
Research interests include:
- The impact of mortality awareness on pedagogy
- Ethical literacy practices and equitable classroom discussions
- Power dynamics in educational leadership
- Narrative methods for teacher development
She co-authored a casebook on inclusion for the CIRTL Network and serves on the boards of the Boston Center for the Study of Groups and Social Systems (CSGSS) and the A.K. Rice Institute. Previously, Cirillo taught in Chelsea Public Schools and identifies as a first-generation scholar.
