Ronald C. Sanders Jr.

Ronald C. Sanders Jr., M.D., M.S., serves as Interim Vice Chair of Research (Clinical/Translational) at Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH), where he is also Medical Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Respiratory Care Services-Critical Care. Since 2004, he has led numerous single- and multi-center clinical trials, contributing to advancements in pediatric critical care practices.

Dr. Sanders has authored or co-authored 36 peer-reviewed manuscripts, 8 reviews, and 7 book chapters. His current research focuses on clinical translational studies within the NICHD Collaborative Pediatric Critical Care Research Network (CPCCRN) and subgroups like NEAR4KIDs, NUTRIENT, PARDIE, PICFLU, and VAIN under the Pediatric Acute Lung Injury and Sepsis Investigators (PALISI) network. He specializes in safe airway practices and critical care interventions for children.
