Dr. Richard Byrne is a Principal Lecturer at Harper Adams Business School, Harper Adams University. With over 25 years of experience as a 'Pracademic' in land management and food security, he has worked in conflict-affected regions such as Afghanistan, Angola, Nigeria, and Zambia. His research focuses on Stabilisation Agriculture, climate (in)security, and sustainable food systems. He advises UK government departments, NGOs, and commercial organizations on food security, climate change, and conflict intersections.
