Dr Joe Collins is a Senior Research Associate in the Department of Agriculture and Environment at Harper Adams University, managing the Conservation Agriculture Systems Research Experiment sponsored by BASE-UK. With over a decade of industry experience across the UK and internationally, his work integrates agronomy, soil science, and environmental economics to advance sustainable farming systems.
Education:
- PhD in multi-disciplinary research on agronomy, soil science, economics, and greenhouse gas emissions in Conservation Agriculture Systems (funded by Midlands Integrative Biosciences Training Partnership)
- MSc in Sustainable Crop Production from the University of Warwick
- BSc (Hons) in Agriculture with Crop Management from Harper Adams University
Research Expertise: Collins specializes in Conservation Agriculture with deep focus on:
